Thank you for visiting our website. Below we inform you about the handling of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2Data collection when visiting the website

For merely informational use we collect only the data your browser transmits to our server (server log files): visited page, date/time, data volume, referrer, browser, operating system and IP address. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to ensure the stability and functionality of our website.

3Cookies

We use cookies to make our website appealing and to enable certain functions. Session cookies are deleted at the end of the browser session; persistent cookies remain on your device for a limited time.

You can configure your browser to notify you before cookies are set and to accept them individually. Restricting cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

4Contacting us

When you contact us by email or form, your details are processed to answer your enquiry and for the associated technical administration (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b) GDPR). Data is deleted once no longer required, subject to statutory retention obligations.

5Customer account & contract processing

For contract performance and to open a customer account we process the data you provide under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Once the contract has been fully performed your data is blocked in accordance with tax and commercial retention periods and deleted afterwards.

6Newsletter & direct marketing

Newsletters are sent via the double opt-in procedure. Legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter or by contacting the controller. A service provider (e.g. MailChimp) may be used for technical delivery.

7Order processing & payment providers

For order processing we share personal data with the transport company commissioned with delivery, as required. Payment data is shared with the commissioned credit institution or payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Klarna/SOFORT) as required (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

8Social media & videos

We use plug-ins from Facebook and Instagram as well as YouTube video embeds in extended data-protection mode where permitted by law. Some are loaded via a two-click procedure. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9Online marketing & analytics

We may use Google services such as Google Ads (conversion tracking), Google Analytics (with IP anonymisation), Google AdSense and remarketing to analyse the use of our site and deliver interest-based advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can disable cookie usage via your browser settings or the providers' opt-out tools.

10Google Maps & customer reviews

To display interactive maps we use Google Maps. When calling the relevant sub-pages, information about your use (e.g. IP address) is transmitted to Google servers. For reviews the "Google Customer Reviews" programme may be used; participation is voluntary and based on your consent.
